I showed them the break down or step by step of what will happen when you enter the application for the first time. I then showed them different characters to distinguish what style popped out at them. They all love the original characters. I showed them different backgrounds and they all agreed on the blue sky with the clouds.
Lauren showed them the flash that she had done. This included the password and user name log in and personalizing the character by changing the hair colour. They were all very impressed.
We asked the clients individually, what type of questions they thought should be asked for the security questions. Here are what they came up with:
What was your first pets name?
What time were you born?
What's your favourite singer?
What's your favourite film?
What's your favourite colour?
What's your Granddad's middle name?
What's your mothers maiden name?
What's your favourite television show?
What's your ffavourite band?
They gave us different ideas also e.g. instead of having the logo on the character they choose, they could have the first letter of the name they call the character. Also Tony pointed out that perhaps a school icon would not be the best solution as none of the clients attend school. Instead we are to call it college. The clients all agreed with this they also suggested to call it training but majority ruled on college.
Overall both Tony and the clients were extremely happy with our presentation of our project. Tony said that everything we were producing was very user friendly which is excellent for our target market.
Although their were doubts about the child-like style of the interface design and graphics, they have all been cleared and we are sticking with the original cartoon style. From the clients reactions to the other characters I showed them, it was obvious that they all loved the child-like cartoon characters. They told us that they loved how the colours popped out and grabbed their attention.
